A group of us stayed at this condo to celebrate a couple milestone birthdays. We had a fabulous time. The codo is in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants and, of course, the beach! The sand is soft and the water is warm. The condo itself is well maintained and very comfortable with a beautiful view. The covered outdoor patio was great for dining in the evenings. And, the pool is right out your bedroom door. It was an amazing trip! You won't be disappointed.

TWO LEVELS FOR BIG VIEWS AND POOL/BEACH ACCESS
On the upper floor of #101 you’ll find magical views of marbled aqua and azure waves sliding onto the glistening sands of Dover Beach. An indoor/outdoor patio perched at the tree line presents a shaded spot for admiring the view, lounging with a book, or digging into a lovely oceanfront meal at the al fresco dining table.
The modern kitchen, also on the top floor, is a vision in stainless steel, contemporary cabinets and granite countertops. And because it’s open to the rest of the living area, the kitchen lets the cook stay part of the conversation.
A dining table just off the kitchen lets you entertain guests in an unbeatable setting. Procure all the ingredients you need at The Dover Market just across the street.
The upstairs bedroom suite provides a king-sized bed and en suite bath, walk-in closets, and small balcony.

BARBADOS, THE SOUTH COAST, & THE ST. LAWRENCE GAPThe south coast of Barbados is known for its beautiful white beaches, the famous Oistins Fish Fry on Friday nights, and its friendly vibe where you'll find locals (called Bajans) and tourists alike.
The St. Lawrence Gap ("gap" means "street") is the area on the south coast that is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. Lots of quaint small businesses, delicious restaurants, colorful shops, and more—all within walking distance of your condo. A car is not necessary; a taxi to and from the airport is likely all you’ll need.
Known as "The Jewel of the Caribbean," Barbados has more repeat visitors than any of the Caribbean islands and, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), 34% of all arrivals to Barbados are repeat visitors. It's easy to see why: The climate averages ideal temperatures in the winter of 75-82 degrees Fahrenheit and in summer a warmer but still lovely 88-92. Gentle trade-winds from the sea keep us cool and we rarely turn on the air-conditioning, although it's available throughout our unit. People are friendly, the sea is crystal clear, and the rum fantastic.

We had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic condo in January 2016 and our experience was first class. It had all the amenities at your fingertips. The ground floor, 2-level layout worked out perfectly for my husband and I, as we were travelling with our 18-month-old daughter and my mother-in-law. There was easy access to the pool for our daughter, and the beach was just steps away. The condo was fully stocked with all the beach/pool toys you could ever want, so no need to bring your own. The condo is just outside St. Lawrence Gap, so it's close enough to easily walk to, but far enough that you don't hear loud music or partying from the bars. The only thing that you could hear on one night of the week was live music from the Dover beach area, but that didn't go on too late. Dover Market was close by, just a few minutes walk, where you could get all your essential groceries. If you feel like eating out on occasion, there are plenty of restaurants in the Gap that you can walk too, and even the small "beach hut" restauarnts at Dover serve good local food. Try "Daddy's" for some excellent macaroni pie! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sapphire 101. I've been to Barbados many times, always staying at hotels, so this was a refreshing change. Definitely felt like a home away from home, and we would not hesitate to return. Thanks to Jane and the property management team for your help!
Everything ok, except the sea

Lovely apartment perfect for our family of four. Very comfortable beds, clean and functional home...but the sea was brown!! We have never been to the beach in front of the condo. Fortunately we could rent a car and visit the west coast and the rest of Barbados.
Great place to stay while in Barbados

First time to Barbados and I really did a lot of researched about where to stay. This condo was perfect for our family of five. Very difficult to find a place with indoor dining which this had plus outdoor dining. Being a condo on the end of the building was also a plus. Very nice grounds, safe, east access and view of beach and pool. Water is not real blue here but is clean. Very easy to rent from this company and they really do make you feel welcome. Comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen. Would recommend to anyone going to Barbados but be sure to get out and see the rest of the island. Don't miss the views at Bathsheba and North Point. Suggest rent a car and really explore!

My friend and I have been back from our Barbados vacay for a week now, and I have to say, it was another perfect trip! Please convey to the owners how grateful we are that they allowed us to re-book after all the craziness from last November. The condo was as perfect as we remembered, and every morning we sat out on the veranda and marveled at how close the ocean was to us. This condo truly has been our favorite place in all of our travels, and we have been traveling together for 7 years! Of course, we also love the Bajan people...incredibly friendly, always felt safe around them, just true gems. We would also like to give huge kudos to two employees who work at Sapphire Beach Condos. The first is Gail, who is the security guard most days. She is such a pleasure! Gail is conversational without being intrusive, always has a smile on her face, and is truly just a genuine joy to be around. She also takes her job very seriously, and we think the company who employs her is very lucky to have her. The second person is Justin, who does the landscape maintenance on the property...that man treats SB like it is his own home and works harder than anyone I have ever seen! He is also a sweetheart, never complains, always cheerful. I know Mel had a great time, but as I can only speak for myself, if I had a choice, I would still be in Barbados. It felt so good to be stepping back into the neighborhood, seeing friends we made last year, and of course, enjoying 101 Sapphire Beach. Everything was absolutely perfect, again, and a huge thank you to you, the owners, the staff, for making this such a relaxing vacation! I wish I slept that well in my own home!
